Dirum

Merging contemporary cultural elements with modern digital artistry, this beautiful artwork is titled Dirum which translates to "sun" in Butchulla.

At the center of the artwork is a representation of the sun taking form and then bursting outward in an explosion of energy and light. People surround the sun symbolising the interconnections drawing parallel between the sun - the giver of life and the collective bond shared by the communities which live beneath it. As the sun rays stretch outwards being lost on the canvas it invites the viewer to explore the layers of meaning left unseen, just as one journeys throughout life taking many paths leading to unknown destinations of self discovery and growth.

Printed on 310gsm museum grade smooth cotton rag (paper) using Epson Ultra Chrome Pro inks.

Prints listed are the overall dimension of each selected size available which includes a 35mm white boarder.
